I am Andy Robertson, owner of Equilibrium Canine Massage Therapy. I completed the 2 year Clinical Canine Massage Therapist programme run by Natalie Lenton at the Canine Massage Therapy Centre. A challenging, but very rewarding course.
Following my successful completion of the course I am now a member of the Canine Massage Guild. A requirement of the guild is for members to complete 25 hours of CPD activities each year. This ensures that my skills and knowledge are kept up to date and relevant.
I have a German Shepherd Cross called Rico who is now in his senior years. Rico has had major orthopaedic surgery for cruciate ligament injuries on both hind legs.
I have found canine massage to be really beneficial for my own dog, Rico, who has had major orthopaedic surgery on both hind limbs. It has helped in his recovery from surgery and the ongoing maintenance of his muscular health. Massage therapy has been a great help to Rico, both in his recovery and the ongoing management of these injuries.
I have also found that it can help older dogs suffering with the effects of ageing, making them more comfortable and generally helping promote good muscular health for any dog.
